ISCHEMIA Imaging Coordinating Center
Purpose: This study seeks to compare two standard strategies for the treatment of Ischemia to determine which is safer and more effective. One strategy uses medicine and lifestyle changes to treat Ischemia, while the other strategy uses an invasive procedure such as cardiac catheterization or surgery along with medicine and lifestyle changes. ISCHEMIA Imaging Coordinating Center (ICC) oversees the Nuclear, CMR and Echo imaging core labs (CLs) that are certifying sites and interpreting images for the International Study of Comparative Health Effectiveness with Medical and Invasive Approaches (ISCHEMIA) clinical trial.
If you are a physician at a participating ISCHEMIA site with imaging questions or concerns, visit the ISCHEMIA ICC website for additional resources and information.
